Name: Tajinder “Tj” Singh

From class #: 201-03

Known for: Being a warm-hearted, energetic and a sporty person.

Interests: Playing all types of sports including; volleyball, basketball, badminton, football etc. Chilling with my friends at the mall and going shopping. Talking on the phone, msn and facebook anything that will keep me updated on the latest gossip……hehe just joking. Drawing pictures in a unique way. Also, cracking jokes just to make people laugh and to see them smile.

How do you have fun?

I have fun by hanging out with people that know, doing silly things and just enjoying myself. With family I would play games with my little cousins, chill at the mall, with my aged grouped cousins, and go to a restaurant with my older cousins. Even just by talking on the phone, or going on-line is pretty fun too.

What are you doing when you feel good about yourself? How so?

When I feel good about myself I am doing things that make me feel good. I would be well dressed and my hair would be done. Feeling together and professional is a great way to feel good. Also drawing and expressing how I feel makes me feel more relaxed. These are some things that I do when I feel good about myself. Who do you enjoy spending time with? Why?I like spending time with people that I love, who care about me and vice verse. My friends and family are always by my side through thick and thin so I would always love to spend time with them.

Is freedom important to you? What do you do feels freeing?

Freedom is very important to me because being free of violence, abuse, neglect, or any type of thing that’s not freeing isn’t right. Being free is away to express your own feelings not when someone tells you to do something. The think that feels freeing is expressing my emotion through art. Art shows my passion, expression and displays a door to a whole new world.

Picture yourself at your happiest…why so happy?

My happiest moment was when my baby cousin came to be to this new exciting world that he had never seen before. When I first held him in my arms I felt this connection as if he knew me. He cracked a smile and it made my day. Now, he is around 6 months old and is very dear to me as much as I’m to him. The reason for this happiness is because my aunt and uncle are very close to me and by having him it will bring us even closer.

With a million dollars I would…?

With a million dollars I would save most of it and spend the a tiny bit of it on my shopping needs. For example; clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. With the money left over from shopping I would donate it to the needy or a good charity.

    Hey TJ!
I love what you say about expressing your feelings or expression through art. I definitely feel you with that. One of my goals for this class is definitely to give you guys another medium to allow you to express yourselves. That would be freeing for me…

Awesome job putting together your blog.

I notice that you did attempt to match the background colour of your Polaroid to your theme. However, what you want to do is to make the background colour the same colour as the section where your Polaroid will sit. The purpose of this is to make it seem like it is just a Polaroid on your wall.

See this again for reference. http://miss.angieshen.com/2007/12/18/class-task-1b-faking-the-background/

Check out the posts “Blog Evaluation Criteria” & “Blog Common Errors” on my blog.

Pay particular attention to #3 under “Blog Common Errors”

In your case for some reason the text spacing changes half way through the posting. I’m unsure why but I would suggest copying and pasting it to and from notepad to see if you can remove that spacing issue.

Compare your mark so far to the above posts. If you choose to, make the improvements in quality for your blog and resubmit it for remarking. Make sure to let me know what you’ve improved.
