1a) What qualities of your magazine cover make it effective? (eg. What makes it eye catching?, What about it promotes curiosity?, How is it visually pleasing?, What makes it easy to understand?)
The qualities of my magazine that make the cover look more effective is that I’m focusing on one thing, like making the words look more visible. The first thing you see on the page is the title, so then your eye goes towards the subtitles. The magazine makes you wonder what you’ll see in the inside because it has a celebrities on the front cover page. It is visually pleasing because it isn’t so cluttered. It makes it easy to understand beacuse the colour and the font style of the words on the magazine help the readers.
b) What was the order of hierarchy you were trying to achieve for the elements on your magazine cover?
1) Title (Craze)
2) One of a kind fashion tips from Gwen Stefani
3) Music, Beauty, Fashion, Accessories
4) Want to dress like celebrities we’ll show you how!

Love the size you chose to make Gwen. Really effective. You may be misssing a “must have” that has pulled your mark down a bit. See me if you’d like to talk about ways to further improve the quality of your work.
